SPADURA
SPADURA is a bold, genre-bending performance film written and performed by acclaimed comedian Dahéli Hall.
Framed as an off-kilter baby shower, the film unravels the emotional, physical, and financial terrain of IVF, aging in Hollywood, and the baby industrial complex - while centering the distinct fertility challenges faced by Black women in America. With wild humor and disarming vulnerability, Dahéli weaves together personal stories of love, identity, and inheritance in pursuit of her Ja-Haitia-Pino American child.
SPADURA is an official selection at The American Black Film Festival and the Pan African Film Festival.
